I called CubeSmart to get a quote for a smaller unit prior to me changing units. I asked for what my total monthly bill was going to be and I was told that it was going to be $67 rate for a new unit. I therefore proceeded with changing units and came in on the following Monday to change units only to find out a week later that my bill was actually going to be $89 and the staff failed to tell me that there were other charges included such as insurance and taxes. I am aware that I have to pay insurance, but I was under the impression that the total that I was given of $67 included any taxes and fees being that my request was what will my monthly bill be? I called to complain to the manager at the store who told me she’s sorry for the misunderstanding, but refused to take accountability for the fact that I was given the wrong information.
