Starting off the unit was fine, the space had AC, the price was reasonable, and the staff were nice. Some months in my monthly price went up by over $30, nearly a 20% increase. Also, I was storing newborn clothing and baby supplies in the unit but at some point there seems to have been a gasoline leak on the floor because everything now smells very strongly of gasoline and I will likely have to throw it out. Paying to store things and then having to throw them out because of the storage unit is beyond frustrating.

Charge another month. Very hard to cancel

CubeSmart's excessive cost increases from $100 in November 2021 to $250 less than five years later (IE as of June 2026) was so egregious as to cause me to go with another storage service provider. Inflation and markets being what they are, such a massive increase in such a short period is, in my estimate, unjustifiable unless only to gouge customers.

The manager is nice and helpful, the place is clean and well controlled, the central location is perfect

Items were stolen from my unit, and no one has called me back regarding my claim. Very sad that this has happened to my son as he was moving back to college.

App was easy for access. Facility was clean once onto unit floor. Garage and elevators could use some work. Only one elevator worked of the two in building but wasn’t too. If of an issue. The price increases each quarter were part of the reason of terminating service. Went from about 90$ to 175$ per month over an 18 month period. The items inside were not more valuable than the budget increases.

Clean facility, great staff, location close to our home. However, one elevator was not fixed even after one year being out of commission, the docks had very high entry points which scraped the bottom of cars, and there were never enough carts.
