The elevator stopped working. I had to pay the movers extra money. Then I called and ask if if it was fixed. I was told yes. I returned the next day an out of order sign was on the elevator. This cost me more money with the movers
The salesperson was very helpful and had a pleasant way about themselves, also it's not to far from my resident, so I would recommend Cube Smart to anyone.

My experience with Cubesmart was unremarkable until I tried to move out this past week. After clearing my unit out fully on Wednesday, I had to return early Sunday afternoon to remove the lock. I arrived, removed the lock from the vacant unit, and left the premises with the lock and keys, as instructed by the manager. The next day, Marco, the General Manager of the facility, called to inform me that I would be charged a $300 fee for disposal of items left in the storage unit, in this case a mattress apparently. However, I told him that I had cleared the unit out fully on Wednesday, and I shared timestamped photographic evidence of my empty unit. He continued to tell me that there was a mattress in the unit and therefore I would be charged this $300 fee. I told him I would not be paying this fee, as it is not my mattress, and I was not sure what he could mean, as AGAIN I had cleaned everything out on Wednesday, with proof of photo! He then told me I would still be charged this $300 and even threatened my account would not be closed. The fact of the matter is the belonging that is in that unit is not mine, and there is photo, and should be video, evidence to support this, however Marco claims he has watched video footage and not seen anyone move the mattress into my unit. I am not sure how that is possible, as I have never seen the mattress in question in my entire life.I feel gaslit, lied to, disrespected as a customer, and like Marco and his facility are trying to scheme me out of this $300 fee, and I will be recommending people ACTIVELY AVOID CUBESMART from now on. Additionally, I will be sharing this complaint with upper-level members of CubeSmart and reporting the case to the Better Business Bureau.I am Very Disappointed as a customer.
