Easy to reserve. My unit though had a pretty large wall within it taking away space I paid for. My gate code also stopped working for some reason but the person at the desk was helpful.

There was always a funky smell in the building. Most of my stored items were covered in mouse excrement. In June, 2024, the closing gate fell on my car and destroyed the back of my car. No one from the company would return my call to address the issue. It took 16 months for CubeSmart to pay my insurance company in order to get my deductible reimbursed. My monthly rent increased 3 times in the time I was there.

I was unhappy with the prices and the cleanliness of the place but what actually made me decide to move out was the fact that when I call to see if we could be a discount on the price or à promotion or something like that, the person was very rude. The person had a very bad attitude and was not willing to really help me at all.

There was water damage in my unit that ruined some of my items. The facility was often broken (doors didn't work, and carts were broken). I had a top unit, and there were no ladders.

It was very hobble and Rud . Customer service it should be so respectful and hambleing @ the customer service. What I experiance was so horable and mistreating customer. They need upgrading course I hope and pray they don’t treat others the way they treat us.

I’ve been a cubesmart renter for the past 15 years. My family and small business relied on CubeSmart for business and personal use. We live in a congested city where it’s difficult to store heavy equipment and tools without renting from a storage facility. I have had positive experiences with every management team across the country and in DC up until my last rental which lasted about two years at the location on Upsher in Washington DC. Unit 1182. I was even referred to them from the management team at R St. Northeast and the manager reached out to let them (at Upsher) know I was a respectful renter and never caused any problems, even though there were often problems with the facilities functioning properly. Up until renting from the location on Upsher I always felt safe taken care of and respected. That all change and you lost my business Indefinitely throughout the nation at all CubeSmart locations in future endeavors due to the management team, being rude, aggressive, and inconsistent with the customer service standards of CubeSmart. I won’t name names, but I will be filing a formal complaint with DNI.gov and citing violations of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, specifically for denying reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
