I’ve had the same unit for over three years and while yes I understand in order to keep a business going price increases are a part of it. However since CubeSmart took over the facility Ive been hit pretty hard in the wallet with increases. The monthly insurance fee would be added each month and I’d have to call with a reminder to use my insurance policy that I had provided to the office. I also noticed on each monthly statement CubeSmarts insurance coverage would increase beyond the minimum requirement for Texas and not once would they tell me about that added fee. Now granted it was only a few dollars each month but I never raised the value of my contents or wanted the added coverage at all. When I called to inquire about the added coverage the lady who answered the phone basically laughed at the fact I would call on such a small dollar amount. The next month I cleared out my unit and parted ways. The continued rising in the monthly rent led me to believe they want people to fall behind on rent in hopes of auctioning off the belongings? I really don’t know but I’m glad to be rid of the headache.

The gal I spoke to over the phone was kind, and helpful. I know nothing of the business and will make a more determined assessment when I am in the Wichita Falls area soon!!

Easy to deal with honest manager told us that we would see price increases until we were up to market rates.
