I thought Dt Lashgari was a surgeon - who could perform an elbow replacement. I had been to AAMC before, so I had X-rays of my elbow - which shows degeneration and a break from childhood - I need an elbow replacement. During our appointment he looked at the old X-rays and said he has not performed an elbow replacement in a few years and would be uncomfortable performing this surgery on me. I was quite surprised he was not current' as a surgeon to perform this operation. Now, I am very upset that I will pay for this appointment - and I have not met my medical deductions with my insurance provider for this year - so, this bill is being in full paid by me. And, I will need to find another surgeon to perform this operation. I believe his bio needs to be changed to say he is no longer performing elbow replacements.
