Sale consult was ok kinda got the vibe he thought I was wasting his time like he had pre judged me as he didn’t seem interested I tried to get rough quote for my own understanding to have some options and he kept saying couldn’t do that ect which is fair enough but I am genuinely looking to change car and other dealerships iv been too had no issue with my request

Thanks for your help with changing our car. We found everything very straightforward and would like to thank Jonathan for everything.

I am sending this email as a formal complaint regarding Charles Hurst Dacia Boucher road Belfast. My name is Nicola Montgomery-Shields and I have a mobility car a Dacia Jogger EMZ4540. My car went into Hurst at 8.30am 30/04/2026 for it's service. I received the car back late that afternoon. I had noticed when driving my car that there would be a strange smell which would set my asthma off, but I thought it was coming through the vents from outside. I never ever expected what I was to later find. I was traveling to England by ferry on 06/06/2026 and before any long trip/journey I always get the tire pressure checked, top up the fuel tank and the water reservoir for the windscreen wipers. What I found on the 04/06/2026 left me feeling physically sick and furious. Whoever had done the service had left the oil cap completely off and set on the ledge at the windscreen! There was oil everywhere and I mean everywhere. The car could have went on fire at anytime or the engine could have seized on me. I immediately phoned Charles Hurst to be told everyone is human and people make mistakes, bring it in and we will clean it.Well that's not good enough. It is not an exaggeration to say that mistake put me and my family in real danger. I phoned motobility who told me to phone the RAC immediately and make sure I put in a formal complaint. The RAC call back I received told me under no circumstances was I to drive the car. It would have to be lifted and taken to Charles Hurst the next day. Now bare in mind I am getting ready to leave on the Saturday, I have a wedding on the Friday and this all happened on the Thursday. To say it was stressful is an understatement. I was ill after coming back home, between the stress and travel I have had a really bad flare up and my health hasn't been good. While the engine block was cleaned and I got my car back there is still oil under the bonnet and also on my driveway at home. I noticed it because the car wasn't in the driveway as it usually is. I will wait on your response to this email and I have been told to keep motobility informed.I have video and photos of how bad it is. I will attach the photos for you to see how bad this was and how dangerous it was.I look forward to hearing from you.Regards Nicola Montgomery-Shields

I gave the fella all of me details and he was to get back to me. I have not had any response since the phonecall so will not be getting a car from here no matter the discounts offered. Abit of professionalism goes a long way. He had my number, as I rang him, if there was an issue of getting the correct details

I went into Charles Hurst Dacia, Boucher Road on 21 March to look at Dacia Duster and made an appointment will Ellen Hickland. At the meeting we were originally looking for the latest model of Duster and Ellen's manager told us that the Dacia SUV deal was coming to an end and there was a black 2024 model 1.6 and manager stated that this was the only vehicle available at that price because newer model would need to be registered before sale as they were GB cars and the only difference was the engine was 1.6 instead of a 1.8. We had earlier stated to Ellen that we didn't require the fabric guard or paint protection add-ons. As it was late in the day we agreed we would go take the car and finance details were applied for. We received confirmation of finance approval the following day, although we had to contact the dealership to establish vehicle specifications as we weren't shown this on the day, this was received by email. We received the e-documents to sign, however my partner noticed that the fabric guard add-on had been included in the price quoted despite us not asking for it. We contacted dealership and was advised the manager would need to remove it, we have since contacted the dealership 3 times and was advised a sales rep would be in contact. We are now approaching 3 weeks and no one has contacted us to sort this mess out, on the day we left our appointment we were told that the car would be available the following week.
