Pt2 as I didn't know what was wrong with the car or how to ask for a courtesy car I arranged a hire car for the day, at 5.30pm I was informed that the cylinder 2 injector was not firing and needed replacing, the part was ordered so I would have to wait. I was informed that if I wanted I could take the car to use until I could get rebooked for repair. I queried would that not damage the car further to which I was told the damage had already been done. I asked about the possibility of a courtesy car to which I was told he (Chris) would ask. I told him I'd discuss in the morning when I returned the one day hire car. He phoned me 10 minutes later to say that I could have a car and a survey would be sent to my phone. An hour later I received and completed the online servey. I assumed all was well and that I could just pick up next day.Upon arrival I returned the key for the hire car and spoke to Chris. I asked how bad was the position of my car to which he informed me that as it was the injector and seals, quite serious. No timescales were given. I asked about the courtesy car and there wasn't any real information about it except I would have to phone Renault in England. I did and I gave them my details, they got in touch with enterprise car hire to provide a car. In summary I'm disappointed with the lack of customer support from the dealership, the lack of provision of a courtesy car even if you have to provide some funding. The lack of care to the customers plight and finally the seriousness of the fault of the 11month Duster with less than 4000 miles. I booked my car in for a vehicle health check on 14/1/26 via telecon. I informed the girl that my 11moonth duster was juddering at low speed and the fuel mpg had dropped significantly. I was given 0900 0n 21/1/26. I arrived promptly at 0840 on the day

Dacia duster ayz5711.had to leave car in as it was dangerous to drive.the front discs and pads were shot.only one pad on each side was working.doesnt look like my car was checked before being sold

I am emailing with serious concerns regarding a service carried out on Saturday 18th October at your Newtownabbey Dacia service centre.The car is my wife’s motability car and this was its first service. The car finished its service and upon asking, I was told the front two tyres were at 4mm and wouldn’t be changed yet but would have another 2-3 months on them.The following day we received a tyre pressure warning message on the dashboard and due to the wet weather, I could hear what I thought was a slow puncture on the driver's side front wheel. I called the RAC out and to their surprise (and mine), they discovered the inside of the wheel was worn down to the cord (as shown in the attached photo). They couldn’t believe it was only serviced the day before and said the car had been left in a dangerous condition and had it gone for a MOT in that condition, we wouldn’t have been allowed to drive it away.I am furious that we were under the false impression that the car was safe to drive after only just passing its service - yet your mechanic has put my wife and children’s life at risk by not noticing such a serious fault. I now have no confidence in the competence of your mechanics and whether anything was actually properly checked in this service.My wife is now in the position of not having access to the car whilst we wait on Kwik Fit coming out to replace both front tyres (as advised by RAC) and we will also need to book it in again with the dealership to get the wheels aligned - but as mentioned earlier, I have zero confidence in the competence of Charles Hurst.I have attached a photo of the tyre, a copy of the RAC report and the service report.I would appreciate your feedback on the above at your earliest convenience.
