My appointment was scheduled for 11:30 AM, and I arrived early at 10:40 AM CST. The service requested was only an oil change and a routine inspection. I was informed that all work was completed by 12:40 PM CST. However, I was disappointed with a few aspects of the experience: I did not receive my vehicle until 2:00 PM CST, even after several follow-ups. The vehicle was returned without an interior or exterior wash.

I didn’t physically come into the dealership. I just dealt with the salesman over the phone via text. I’m very disappointed not because they couldn’t get the deal done but because they tried to put me in anything they thought the bank would approve me for without asking if I even liked what they chose. I originally came for a used Honda CRV. They couldn’t do the deal so it was changed to a Ford Escape. Very unacceptable for many reasons, one being I would never buy a Ford let alone from a Honda dealer. I wanted a Honda.

I've used David McDavid for as long as they have been open in Frisco. I have bought 5 vehicles from them. Chris Ladd was my Service Advisor. I used him the time before and requested him this time. Chris did a great job of keeping me informed about my vehicle progress and walked me through what mx was completed on the car while we were waiting for the porter to bring it up. Unfortunately, for as good a job as Chris did, the Service Tech did a equally bad half-a$$ job on my vehicle. Came in for the Fuel Pump Recall. When returned, the Service Tech had left the rear seat mount close out panel laying behind the back seat and completely uninstalled. Both back seal front set clips were unhooked and in the way of the seat fore / aft adjustment handle and the front passenger door window was either left open in the rain or when they ran the vehicle through the car wash; the front passenger seat floor was wet and the door closure grab handle was full of water. Sadly, this has become the norm when any of our families vehicles are returned from this service department. Last time my daughter brought her Pilot in for service, she had to bring it back the next day to get the things fixed that the service tech messed up while her vehicle was there. I fixed my own issues this time, like normal, because I didn't want to risk another trip to the service department. It's unfortunate the dealership is so close to our house, because I would not recommend bringing a vehicle to your service department for any work.
