i waited over a month to schedule the recall to give the dealership ample time to fine tune the recall repair process and avoid undue damage to my new vehicle for yet another recall. unfortunately our vehicle now has scratches on both sides of the center dash that was accessed as part of the recall. there were literally a number of other blunders from beginning to end with this visit that i’m willing to share as well if someone is willing to listen/read a longer response. i would like the damage to be fixed but honestly don’t think the parts that were damaged are intended for simple replacement. that being said, even if they were, i don’t know that i would have the faith in david mcdavid honda to do it properly.
