He left for two hours and didn’t come back because they said he was sent off but other than that this is the best Honda dealership I’ve been too my car drove totally different after I got this oil change

The service experience was absolutely excellent. Our service advisor was Mr. John Giles. In fact, it’s important to tell you the whole story regarding the service experience so the truly excellent service that Mr. Giles provided can be truly appreciated. My wife and I live near Denton and typically use the Denton Honda dealership for our service needs. However, on this particular day, we were traveling through Irving, Texas on our way back home on the freeway, and suddenly the metal plate on the underside of the engine, came unbolted, and started scraping along the road as we drove. The vehicle was drivable, but only at a slow rate so we could avoid any dips and bumps that caused the metal plate hanging down below the engine to scrape the roadway. We noted that we were near the David McDavid Honda dealership at that time and called to see if the service department could see us. Although it was a Saturday morning and the service department was very busy, we were advised to go ahead and bring the vehicle in to see what they could do. We made it to the dealership safely and upon our arrival were greeted by Mr. Giles. He listened intently to the issue did a quick examination himself and then advised us it would typically be at least a four hour wait for mechanic to look at it that day, but he wanted to try to get it right back to the mechanic then to see if the problem could be rectified sooner. We were very grateful and he took the car back to the shop. After less than an hour, he found us and said the problem had been fixed, and the plate bolted back up to below the engine as per normal. Further, he’s told us that even though our vehicle was out of warranty (being a 2018 model) there would be no charge from the dealership. This made a huge positive difference in our day and avoided us having to leave the car and get an Uber all the way back home near Denton and then retrieve the car later on after it was repaired. This is the kind of service that makes us want to bring our business to McDavid Honda and tell all our friends about how great we were treated there. Kudos to David McDavid Honda for being a truly great dealership with great customer service and having a great advisor like Mr. Giles was for us that day. Thank you so very much. Jerry and Lori Webb.
