For the most part the move in process was a breeze, only downside was not being aware that the property did not have a washer and dryer connection, and it was gas and not total electric. I do feel like this information should be put under the description of the property when posted. I can by pass the washer and dryer but I would have passed on the property if I knew it was gas.

Commendation for Outstanding Services Provided by Ms. Paige Sweeney, Property Manager and Mr. Matt Farris, Project Coordinator, Decas Group Property Management Company in Birmingham, Alabama. In April 2022, after we discovered that our rental home at Birmingham, Alabama had been poorly managed by another property management company, to the point that Section 8 of HUD stopped paying the rent subsidy to that company for a total of three months, partly retroactive due to delayed repairs. We were desperately looking for a buyer to take over the property as we were unable to know what other property management company we can trust. We have tried two companies up to that point with disastrous results. None of the offers came to fruition. Fortunately, I came about a list of property management companies. I started to make inquiries to various companies and individuals. Ms. Sweeney was very quick to respond to my inquiry. She was very efficient and caring that she took me by the hand and helped me through the process of properly terminating Section 8, gave notice to our tenant that repairs had to be made to the home and served her eviction notice as she had not paid rent for several months due to the lack of repairs to her complaints. Ms. Sweeney and Mr. Matt Farris, Project Coordinator, immediately went to work and gave me a couple of repair estimates to add insulations in the attic, repaired the damaged floor and a few other construction defects. Within a month, the home was ready for new tenants. Ms. Sweeney had Decas Group's realtors to screen tenants for us and the home was immediately rented with approximately $250 more rent than Section 8 was willing to pay. Since that time, our bank account has been receiving monthly rent payment on time without worries. There has been hardly any repair requested by our tenant as Ms. Sweeney and Mr. Matt Farris have great contacts with high quality construction companies to work on their properties. What a great relief that we have not had to pay out large amounts of our rent for never ending repairs by those other property management companies. We are most grateful to Decas Group for their extraordinary customer services provided by their highly devoted property manager Ms. Paige Sweeney and Project Coordinator Mr. Matt Farris. This team considers the company's business as their own and treats the company's customers with great care and attention. You will never go wrong with the Decas Group when Ms. Sweeney and Mr. Farris are at the helm. Our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Sweeney, Mr. Farris and the Decas Group Property Management Company. They are phenomenal.

I have been renting with Decas group since 2021 so about 2 years now. The company itself is great. Paige Sweeney , she always work miracles for me. She have never gave me a hard time when I was going through hard times she always email or call me back. She really understands life situations. I honestly can’t think of a rental property that will work with you and for you like this company. I had a situation come up with my property and Paige reached out to the owner of the home and she did everything in a timely manner although she had other things going on. They really do put their customers/ renters first as well as the home owners. I really want to relocate soon, but I’m having second thoughts bc I’m not sure if I will find a company that is this understanding. You definitely cannot go wrong renting from them or letting them do business for your rental properties. I’m thankful and blessed for the office staff Erica and it’s another lady that answers the phone there i thank all of you. They are the very best. 💕💚 I will give them 10 stars any day.

I feel your property administrative staff is very attentive to the needs of tenants. If there is a problem they quickly schedule a maintenance person or direct me to the right people for help.Also they are friendly toward callers.
