Outstanding experience by well trained professionals

Doctor and staff were friendly and knowledgeable when I went in for my initial appointment/cleaning. I had X-rays taken and Dr. K went over what he saw and created a treatment plan. I knew that I had some dental issues and was aware that substantial work might be needed, but as this was an initial appointment, I didn't expect to have that work begin right then an there. I wanted an evaluation and a cleaning. I got the evaluation, which was over by 2:20 (my appointment was at 2), but the doctor said I wouldn't be getting a cleaning. He had time to get started on the repair work, but didn't have time for a cleaning? After all of that, I was told I would have to pay nearly $7,000 at the end of the visit if I wanted anything done. How is that reasonable? So ultimately I feel like I wasted sick time at work to make this appointment, but now I need to make a new appointment with a new dentist who will clean my teeth without asking for $7,000 first.
