My whole experience from start to finish was a pleasant visit. The receptionist immediately welcomed me and assisted me. My wait time wasn't long at all. My interactions with the nurse and doctor was friendly and made me feel comfortable.

I was referred to your practice by a relative. I had a toothache and my prior dentist was out of town. I was thoroughly impressed to receive a next day appointment. Upon my arrival, everyone was friendly, informative and professional. So much so, that the same day, I called my prior dentist office requesting my records and x-rays be transferred!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years and felt very out of my element, but the staff made me feel very at home and were extremely nonjudgmental! I’m not very good with names, and wish I could remember the name of the assistant who took my X-rays. I think her name was Alicia or maybe Alyssa… we bonded over zodiac signs and she was great at explaining what exactly she was doing to take the x-rays. Dr. D’Alessandro was also extremely easily to talk to and gave a great, comprehensive overview of my X-rays. I’ve gone from being nervous about my next cleaning to looking forward to it! I can see why this practice has so many patients.

From the time I set foot in the office is was warm an inviting. The woman who checked me in was extremely pleasant and helpful(believe she said she was new). The dental team as well as the other admins all made me feel like I was in the right place and that they were all there to help. I suffer with dental anxiety and their warmth really helped to alleviate some of my anxieties.

I tried to call ahead of my first appointment to verify all (insurance) info was set, but I wasn’t told until I arrived that I did not have insurance coverage. I thought that the first person who helped me schedule the appointment was helpful and informative, but the person when I called back to confirm details was not. So I arranged my morning to show up for no reason despite my best efforts. Then when my insurance problem was corrected and I had the true first appointment I was shocked when after the x rays and dentist exam I was asked if I wanted a cleaning… which was my primary goal of the visit so of course I did…? And I had to wait in the lobby until that cleaning appointment time. It was a really hard day for me because we had just decided to put my dog to sleep that afternoon. I wanted to be home with her, but if I had declined the cleaning appt later in the morning, I would have had to wait another 4or more months to be scheduled. I felt like I just wanted to walk out and find a new dentist at that point but was locked in with all of the time and effort already spent. It was just a hard day. Plus I had asked my previous dentist to send records, but they weren’t uploaded. Olex told me that I should have asked the dentist to send them to me, but the original person on the phone was confident that records should be sent to the dsbalacynwyd email. Just confusing at almost every step and not good feelings about getting started here. But I’m hoping things can improve. P.S. the cherry fluoride was SUCH a bad flavor.

From the time I stepped through the door, I was treated kind, and respectful. Everyone was caring, it moved along nice and smoothly, and I got out of there at a decent time...🙂
