I only came in because I am following my doctor there. He doesn't start till mid Feb and I didn't think I should wait that long with my issues so I made an apt with one of the other workers there. I didn't know id be seeing a midwife and not an actual ob doctor. When I got to location the front staff was really nice. When I went to the back the nurse was asking me questions and was kinda rude. When the mid wife came in I felt like she wasn't listening to what I was telling her I felt like she was just pressuring me to get on bc. Unwanted a full hormone check done and she just kept saying well I don't think it will show anything. I don't care what you think I want it done. So I don't even know if she drew blood to check my hormone levels. Just my iron and thyroid levels. I just felt really unheard and not listen to and just not what I wanted I don't know if I will continue to follow my ob doctor when he starts there. They want me to go back in 2 weeks for an ultrasound but I don't know..

Loved the Dr and midwife’s, didn’t like the fact there wasn’t a single person from y’all that delivered me. I dont Understand why he picked a certain obgyn if not a single person from the practice delivery’s you.

Yesterday when I was seen for feeling lumps on my cervix (or atleast we think on my cervix), and pain in my lower back and pelvic area INCLUDING my left side I was given a few second exam of looking ONLY at my cervix and not a pelvic exam which she even stated she did not do but then wrote in the app that “ during your pelvic exam”. She told me for my back pain I should go to a walk in clinic and to come back for an ultrasound if I “developed “ left side pain.Which I had stated already I had. I should’ve been given a full pelvic exam and an ultrasound at the very least especially considering my history of endometriosis and cyst on my ovaries that had to be removed before. She said she noticed some dark blood on my cervix but still did nothing and brushed me off completely even though I told her I had been in pain. I don’t need pain medicine either, I just need answers and to actually be listened to and looked at. I just expected the bare minimum of a full pelvic exam and an ultrasound. She tried to brush me off like the back pain should be seen at urgent care but my back pain isn’t because of something with my back, the back pain is RADIATING from my pelvic and side pain.

I really appreciate that the midwives there let the mother lead, and pregnant mothers are able to make their own decisions about their pregnancy an and birth experience.

I was initially very excited about finding Diana Health and was encouraged when filling out the questionnaire because I thought it was a signal to the care that was going to be taken with me, but I'm sad to say that my experience for this annual wellness exam was pretty similar to everywhere else, which is disappointing.I appreciated the ability to book online and see who my care provider would be, the location is very convenient for me since I live in East Ridge, and I loved the use of real robes and an actual sheet for the exam, but those were really the only things I appreciated outside of the water provided in the lobby and kindness of the folks at the front desk. After giving my urine, weight and blood pressure, I was brought to a room for my exam, but I was surprised when someone other than who I set up my apt with came in. In fact, it wasn't anyone listed on the website so I probably should've asked more questions, but I'll chalk that up to bad doctor conditioning because I was also surprised when no questions were asked aside from whether my period has been regular and about my Thanksgiving plans.I realize I need to take more responsibility for my care, but it really does baffle me that care providers are making small talk rather than asking about your health. I saw the sign in the room for mental health and wanted to ask for support but didn't. I guess, based on the questionnaire, I thought there would be more questions or conversations about me, my health, etc so I was thrown off by how rapidly my provider was in and out. Even the front desk was surprised by how quickly I was done. I got a breast exam and pap and was told by the front desk that my results would be in the app.
