Yes, you sent me to collections for a bill which you were not charging to the correct insurance information. I had been on the phone with you several times to have this situation rectified and the last I knew it was being taken care of then I find out in February that you sent me to collections, even though we were in the process of getting the coding worked out when I tried to call and discuss this with you, I got some AI machine. I left a message and no one has contacted me back. This is in violation of the. Fair debt collection practices act.

The provider on the call was not friendly. She was also pressuring me at the end to share my information from my current provider who I’ve had one appointment with and insinuated I was “shopping around” for care. I was genuinely interested in seeing Dr Sizemore and learning about switching, but wanted to do more research about the hospital. Overall, did not like my experience with Beth and found her to be rude.

I had a simple question that I asked about in the app. The person responded back that I could set up a virtual apt to discuss.I rushed home and had to find someone to pick up my kids, all for someone to get on the call, seem irritated that I had made an apt for something so little (let’s be honest, I was irritated too since it was such a simple question), and literally be on the call for maybe 5 minutes IF that.My question could have been answered in the app. But we had this 3 ring circus for nothing.I normally love Diana Health and recommend them to everyone, but this was stupid.

The staff at all levels of Diana Health have been kind, courteous, and respectful. My problem was two things regarding financial planning expectations, both I think could be resolved if Diana Health implemented financial reviews, especially for patients who have insurance coverage with Diana but not in the delivering hospital. My first issue is that I couldn’t get FSA reimbursement for my global charges, due prior to the completion of all services, because Diana Health can’t provide an itemized receipt of the services until the services are complete which prevents FSA reimbursement. The second issue is that I’m getting mixed messages between the hospital finance coordinator and Diana Health about the expenses owed. If there was a meeting with a financial counselor or specific documents to set expectations around financial planning for patients beyond the global estimates, I would have had clear financial planning from the start and made different decisions like paying with an FSA debit card.
