It is very frustrating to have to call back daily trying to get someone from billing. I love the office and service at the facility but the other aspect needs improvement.

I’ve loved every provider I’ve seen so far. It means so much that Diana health respects and encourages all my holistic views on my medical choices and decisions. They haven’t once tried to discourage me or make me feel like my holistic choices were nonsensical like my previous practice. I truly feel like they understand and respect my right to my choices, it’s been so reassuring. I would be happy to have any one of them as my midwife or NP at my birth!

I feel like the practice is simply too busy to provide the level of care I need right now and unfortunately I just feel stuck and have to deal with it. I’m currently pregnant with twins and over halfway through my pregnancy, yet every doctor I’ve tried to schedule with is booked out until after my due date. And from my understanding, a doctor will be delivering my babies since I’ll be in the OR, but I haven’t been able to establish care with any specific physician for my future appointments as I progress in my pregnancy. Instead, I’m rotating through midwives without ever meeting the doctor who may ultimately be responsible for my delivery. It’s really frustrating to be this far along and dealing with this issue, especially since this wasn’t a problem earlier in my pregnancy.

On 4-21-26, I was seen in the clinic by Chloe Penton, CNM. During the visit, the focus was primarily on bacterial vaginosis, and my concern about a possible urinary tract infection was not addressed unless I brought it up myself. I again expressed that I believed I could be experiencing both conditions at the same time. A pelvic exam was offered in relation to the bacterial vaginosis, which I declined at the time, as my primary concern during the visit was also the possibility of a urinary tract infection.I provided a urine sample during that visit and was told it would be sent out for testing, with results expected in approximately 72 hours. At no point during the visit was I informed that an in-office urine dipstick test could be performed for more immediate results, and no rapid test was conducted.Given that I had already communicated possible UTI symptoms prior to the appointment and again during the visit, I left with the understanding that appropriate evaluation had been completed. That night, my symptoms worsened significantly. I was unable to sleep due to discomfort and frequent urination. The following day, I reached out through the messaging system seeking guidance and relief. During this communication, I was informed by Holly, RN, IBCLC, that no dipstick test had been performed and that my options were to return to the clinic for repeat testing, wait for the culture results, or seek care elsewhere. I was also advised that I could take AZO.This was concerning for several reasons. I had already been seen in person, had already provided a urine sample, and had clearly communicated my symptoms multiple times. Being asked to return for additional testing due to an incomplete evaluation during my visit placed an unnecessary burden on me, especially given my condition, distance from the clinic, and lack of rest at that time.Additionally, I did not receive timely or clear responses to questions I asked regarding symptom relief and pregnancy-safe options. At one point, a message thread was marked as “resolved” despite my concerns not being addressed, which required me to address the issue in an old thread that wasn’t marked as resolved.Due to the lack of timely evaluation and guidance, I ultimately sought care through another provider, where I was evaluated and prescribed medication. After beginning treatment, my symptoms improved.I am concerned about this matter because I clearly communicated my symptoms and concern about a possible urinary tract infection both before and during my visit, and the situation felt urgent given my pregnancy and worsening condition. Despite this, an available in-office dipstick test was not recommended or performed, which contributed to a delay in evaluation and treatment. Although I was seen on April 21, I did not receive treatment at that time. Due to worsening symptoms, I sought care elsewhere on April 22 and was prescribed medication the same day, which led to improvement, while I did not receive a prescription from Diana Health until April 27. I was also asked to return for repeat testing despite already providing a sample, and without being made aware of immediate testing options. Additionally, communication after my visit was not timely or fully responsive, and my message thread was marked as “resolved” while I was still seeking help.

The billing process is unacceptable. My bill was for services rendered SEVERAL months ago! Why has it taken this long to submit the claim in the first place? When I called about my bill, I was never connected to a live representative, and my callback request went unanswered.Experiencing this as a PROVIDER at Diana Health is not only frustrating — it’s embarrassing. If this is what our patients encounter, it highlights a SERIOUS failure in our customer service model.

During a Bartholin cyst procedure, I was asked questions about my diabetes while in pain, which felt inappropriate given the timing. Additionally, concerns about my vaginal skin were addressed in a way that felt unprofessional and overly familiar rather than clinical. As a Black woman, I am aware of the risks in maternal care and need to feel heard and respected. I have lived in my body for 37 years and know when something is not right. I have experienced multiple instances where my concerns were dismissed, minimized, or met with skepticism, with medication or therapy presented as the immediate solution and little to no education provided.I have since changed providers and am happier, but these concerns should still be addressed. Pregnancy is already challenging, and being made to feel dismissed or reduced to a number only adds to that experience. Thank you for the opportunity to share my concerns.
