While I understand I had the last appointment of the day and everyone is eager to get home, I felt rushed. It felt as though I wasn’t a priority. I’m also quite disappointed that some of my labs didn’t get sent properly and I have to have them redone. My last two appointments weren’t great either. The first of the two we were forgotten about in the waiting room for 45 minutes. The next one I had to remind them that I was there for a glucose test not just a regular appointment, and I had to remind them to take my blood pressure. I completely understand if maybe the office is going through some sort of transition at the moment, but I do wish my care wasn’t hindered in the process. Thank you so much for your time in reading this!

I have had a very disappointing experience with medical support throughout this pregnancy from Diana Health. I initially transferred to Diana Health from another provider due to statements on website about VBAC friendly providers. I was told they were supportive of VBAC and TOLAC so I was excited to find someone who could support me throughout this pregnancy and my birth plan. However, I was never told that Northcrest the hospital that I would be delivering at will not induce patients who have a prior history of cesarean until 38 weeks pregnant, which was too late for me to transfer somewhere else in the case that induction was needed. They did tell me I could go to the Smyrna location to be induced if needed. I am now 41 weeks pregnant with gestational diabetes that is diet controlled and told that my increased risk of stillbirth is high due to gestational diabetes therefore, I asked to get in touch with Smyrna location to schedule an induction to prevent stillbirth of my child due to the midwife telling me about risk of this. I did get a call stating I need a cervical exam to determine whether or not my cervix is “favorable” for induction, even though this was also never disclosed to me that I needed to have “favorable“ cervix to choose an induction then I was told if my cervix is not favorable then I would have to have a C-section. This feels ridiculous and forceful. I feel like I have no choice in my own birth plan I should be able to choose an induction and they do not regularly check for favorability of cervix to induce people for low risk pregnancies even though based on my research, cervical exams, tell you nothing about favorability of cervix since I am not actively in labor. I am very disappointed and upset that I chose Diana Health for this pregnancy. I feel unsupported, neglected, and feel like I am not being treated like a human being who can make choices with their baby and body. I will never recommend Diana Health to anyone. In any other medical situation, the patient has choice about their care. It feels like Diana Health is telling me what I have to do with my body and my baby instead of providing me with informed consent. I appreciate recommendations, but recommendations from providers are not the law and I should be given options instead of told what I must do. Now all I can do is pray I go into labor on my own or that I have a “favorable” cervix based on a providers evaluation even though I am not in active labor and most women won’t dilate or efface before active labor begins. This establishment is NOT VBAC friendly or supportive and they should not advertise this on website.

Erin Fagot was the provider who met with me virtually and she really listened to my questions & concerns. She was understanding & caring to what I needed and helped me decide the best options for me.

The check in/check out process gets backed up. I believe there must be a better way to navigate that so there are not 8 people standing in line.

Completely dismissive. Talked to me (a 20 year old female) as a child. Cut me off to shame me for vaping. Heard what she wanted to hear. “A provider will never take you seriously if you don’t try birth control” which I know is inaccurate. Etc. I will be going back for my ultrasound but you will not see me back afterwards. I also waited an hour and 15 minutes before being seen.
