Brough my vehicle in for two known problems; brake noise and infotainment system glitches. Service Manager acting like this was the first he had ever heard of these issues even know there is a wealth of information in the internet about these problems. I also can't believe I am the only person in Portland with these issues. Service tech found the information on the brake issue right away but ACURA has not fix for the problem. I received not paperwork from the dealer showing this service visit which I thought was odd but the service manager said they didn't work on my vehicle but had it for 5 hours. Other minor issues with phone calls and follow up. Not impressed after buying a 45k car!

I’ve been coming to Acura of Portland for over a decade now for services to my vehicle. Although there are a few very nice employees at Acura it seems my experience is always unsatisfactory. There is always a problem and it never seems to go smooth. I’ve had my keys lost. I’ve had my keys locked up with no access to them when I came to pick up my vehicle. This is because it was after hours and the service center was closed but they promised me someone in the sales department would have my keys to give to me that evening. It is a hassle to rearrange rides from a friend to go back into town to pick up your car again the next day. I am surprised at how often this has seemed to happen. I’ve also been quoted a price only to be charged more. I’ve also had additional costs without being notified. I’ve had my car held against my will for a car wash I did not want. This added another hour on to my time at Acura and I missed an important appointment. All the while I was being told my car would be available in just a few minutes. Imagine my frustration. This is just a few of the issues that I’ve had. Would you believe that there are even more? I have an Acura so I am unfortunately bound to your service center for certain services. Otherwise I have voluntarily violated my warranty with Acura by having all my work done elsewhere as much as I possibly can. It’s just a better experience elsewhere. I am sorry to say this is my experience with your company.

This visit was little better. Friendly staff, which they are little bit ahead like the staff from Acura PDX at mall 205. No coffee and sugar was available. Never offer car wash. Customer services still under construction. I do prefer Acura Portland services.

I was disappointed that, when asking if there were any coupon offers or discounts on my service, the rep said no and, not a week later, I received a postcard in the mail which could have saved me $50 on my service. I hadn't planned on spending as much as I did for a simple oil change and recall. I know that Tonkin would have honored it.

The reason for my visit- the white powdery substance coming out of my vents wasn’t Remedied, being it’s a certified car and only having it a few months don’t think really looked into it’s cause. I asked for a car wash and that didn’t happen. The recall that just happened to be note was taken care of. Service people were good, and welcoming.
