I am writing to provide feedback regarding my daughter’s recent visit to your oral surgery center. She is 19 years old, and I was her driver and responsible adult while she was under anesthesia.Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and guidance provided to me throughout the visit. No one greeted me upon arrival or explained what to expect during the procedure or recovery process. While I understand my daughter is legally an adult, she was under anesthesia, and I was the person responsible for her care afterward.The only interactions I had with staff were:When a staff member asked how I was paying, without explaining the total amount, what the charge was for, or reviewing it with me.When I was brought back to recovery, I was briefly told that she did well and instructed to change the gauze every 30–45 minutes. About 10 minutes later, someone returned to help me get her to the car.No one reviewed the procedure performed, provided post-operative care instructions, explained pain medication timing (such as how long to wait before the first dose), discussed warning signs to watch for, or asked if I had questions. Given that my daughter was sedated, this lack of explanation was concerning and left me feeling unprepared to care for her safely at home.I believe better communication—especially with drivers or caregivers of patients under anesthesia—is essential for patient safety and overall quality of care. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future patients and families.Thank you for taking the time to review my comments.

Everyone was very polite and very courteous. And the doctor was great …. (I didn’t feel a thing ) and my recovery so far has been good

I was quoted a price for the procedure and sedation and opted to not get sedation for the procedure because of the cost for both. When I got there, the cost of the procedure was significantly lower than the quoted price (not complaining on that front). Had I know the lower cost of procedure, I may have opted for the sedation also though.

Was disappointed in the fact that when I brought my niece in to have her wisdom teeth removed, I was told as she was going back that they may not be able to remove the top ones due to them being too high up. Nothing about this wad mentioned in previous appointment.After she went back, I asked the lady at the reception desk if I could run over to grocery store right beside the building and was told I couldn't leave. That's absolutely ridiculous!

No improvement needed.

Super nice facility and the staff and Doctor was very friendly and accommodating!
