My one concern is this: the dealership's prices for service seem a bit high. I have always brought my car for any kind of service to the dealership in El Cajon, but at my last visit I paid over four hundred dollars for some minor services, an oil change and a transmission fluid change, I believe. A loyalty discount might not be a bad idea. This has nothing to do with Harold, of course.Harold is very personable.

I had to get my vehicle towed on a Sunday. The Sales team helped liaise with the tow truck. Harold called me first thing on the Monday morning to clarify the problem and help me share photos to support the diagnosis. In addition to fixing the battery problem, the team also alerted me to the need for new tires and installed them. I was also very grateful that they fixed the button to open the trunk without me asking. All much appreciated!Harold and his team were super helpful and supportive. Great communication

Honestly I dont even know if they really completed the recall on my car and if so they used the obd code i gave them and wrote a valve needed to be replacedHe did say hi, was surprised that I was there for an appointment. He wasn't very knowledgeable, not saying he wasn't, he may have been. But not for the questions that were important for my vehicle didn't stop to check if the car still had a manufacturer's warranty, or look for affordable options. He told me that my car wouldn't be ready until Monday, just to get a call that my vehicle was ready for pick up.Service man , attitude , being more helpful than having a " pay the cost or go somewhere else" attitude.The service representative was rude and unprofessional. I received conflicting information about when my vehicle would be ready and was made to wait while he completed other tasks without addressing our questions. He did not clearly explain the recall, what damage may have occurred, or which valve required replacement. I was only told that the engine was knocking and that replacement would cost $16,000.When I asked about manufacturer warranty coverage for used vehicle owners, my question was dismissed and I was told to contact the dealership where I purchased the car. This was confusing, as I expected Mitsubishi dealerships to offer assistance regardless of purchase location. Despite already having the diagnostic code, I was charged $280 for diagnostics.Overall, the interaction was dismissive and unhelpful, and I was left feeling that my only options were to pay $16,000 for an engine replacement or take my vehicle and leave.
