I choose to book my service by phone as I find it quick and easy to discuss my requirements with one of your always friendly and helpful call centre staff. This way I know exactly what service I will be booking and any other work is discussed as required. I did use the online check-in service but I was still asked the same questions that I normally get asked when dropping my car off and still had to sign to say that I agreed to the work being carried out. For those reasons I shall continue to book my services via your call centre and check in at the dealer as normal. After checking my car in I had to wait for my lift home. Although I was offered a tea or coffee when checking in I was sat in the reception area for about half an hour and at no time was I approached by any of your staff, despite sitting right in front of your receptionist, to check whether they could assist me with anything. I was even scrolling through your in stock cars on my phone at the time. Regarding my last service, The service report showed that my front and rear discs/pads needed attention. This was followed up by a very misleading e-mail, dated 24th June, stating that the rectification work needed was not urgent at the time of the check but needed to be carried out by the 29th June. This e-mail was received three months after the service. I realise that you have no specific idea of how long such components will last in service but do believe that your follow up e-mail was misleading by stating a time limit. Incidentally, the rear brakes were replaced just before the recent MOT and the fronts will be replaced soon. Although neither were/are in a dangerous condition.

Excellent experience overall. What let it down was that the car received a complimentary wash but the car must have been parked near some trees or bushes and by the time I collected it it was covered in debris. It was a shame because my wife was looking forward to getting it back for the service cleaned.

Easy and works All in all Good but not happy to get a video and email being advised I need new rear brake disks (on a 3.5yr old Q3 with 34k miles still on its first set of brake pads with 50% remaining), on a RED alert at over £500!!! It is only because I sent my husband the email and video and he questioned that needing them on a 3yr old car was outrageous and unlikely when he has a track car he thrashes around, has nee pads after each event BUT not even disks after 4 events??? He called to speak to Will, and asked him to check with Mechanics and transpires that the outer edge is slightly corroded (which says more about the product!!!) but the actual function of the brake disk was fine and unaffected. So having said all that - how many people would receive this email video and just go ahead, maybe unnecessarily at high cost, if the are not “car savvy” AND how many people may fail an MoT unnecessarily too. Finally - surely the mechanics should question themselves - how an excellent condition, 34k mileage, 3.5yr old Q3 would require brake disks as THAT is not the norm!! I also have extended warranty and if the current product is corroding - due to the fact they are, perhaps, inferior- maybe this becomes a warranty issue??? Think this needs looking at…
