Hello, Today we collected our two new Audi vehicles from Farnborough Audi. This is the third time we have brought vehicles from this garage (a total of 4 vehicles), each time, the vehicle being brand new. Why do we return to the same garage? Because they are amazing. Each time we have sought to buy a new vehicle, they go above and beyond to help and assist. They are always friendly, polite, funny and not in the least bit pushy. This time round, attending in person to discuss what we wanted was somewhat difficult due to having an autistic child who wouldn’t cope well with being in a garage for the amount of time it would require - these things cannot be rushed. Previously we had childcare but this time round that was not an option. Matt Gilbert was incredibly understanding and considerate of this and went way beyond what I would expect from any staff, sending us personalised videos of vehicles we were interested in, constant calls and emails back and forth. To say he made our lives easier is somewhat of an understatement. As parents of an autistic child, we are frequently met with a lack of understanding or awareness around autism and we are often left feeling frustrated or upset but this wasn’t the case here. We felt Matt fully understood and he was fantastic. Matt’s amazing customer service is without a doubt, one of the biggest contributing factors in us purchasing two new vehicles from them. Yes, we love the cars and are incredibly happy with them but his part in the process should not be overlooked because it was huge. In a business that prides itself on customer service, to be blunt, he nailed it and I can say both my husband and myself are exceptionally satisfied customers. Retain him for as long as you can because you cannot teach that level of compassion and understanding! Our daughter came with us to collect our new vehicles. He was very kind to her, seemed to be aware that she wouldn’t overly engage with someone she didn’t know and took that in his stride. She actually said he was a very nice man after we left and she liked that he liked racing cars and knew lots of technical car information. Amusingly, she paid more attention to Matt discussing these topics with my husband than I did! Matt also kindly filmed the unveiling of the cars so that we could include her in the process which was really lovely of him to do. I am sure all branches of Audi are great but Farnborough are exceptional and this is why we will remain loyal customers. We will no doubt buy more vehicles from them in the coming years. Hopefully, one of our daughters will be following suit and visiting them to purchase a new car too in the next few months. So, essentially, I just wanted to praise and thank them for consistently being absolutely fantastic. Ian and Matt, thank you both!
