After many years as a Audi man I have moved to BMW, due to very bad advice on purchasing my last car in 2024, new offer was easily beaten by BMW

Hi,I had a good relationship with Ian Potter (sales manager), Georgia, Lucy (service reception) JJ and Umar.Always when I spoke to them and they apologised for the issues with my vehicle, I always stated that they did not build my car.I also put a similar review on referring to Audi and within 1 day they tried to get the review removed, its a pity that Audi are not as proactive at getting known faults fixed. In 49 vehicles that I have owned, never has a vehicle fault got a fix 3 to 6 months away to make the car secure, its absolutely nuts.I got fed up with driving a ICE car half the price that's 5 times more expensive than a EV car, yet I was still paying for Luxury car insurance.Attached is• Audi trying to remove my post• Email December stating fix April to July 2026• Email stating sadly car not fixed• Photo of boot lid up and car soaked inside after a home charge• Audi asking for Like for Like car• Audi breakdown Boot FaultBelow I will paste why I got upset, I posted this to Ian being upfrontFrom: Colin PSent: 29 January 2026 10:14To: Audi Customer ServicesSubject: Case number 06519993Please pass onto AntonHi ,Now I have calmed down, I need to email why I feel totally cheated.Firstly I was pleased with the customer service that I received at Audi Farnborough when I left the showroom on Monday.I had noticed on my Audi app that the car was unlocked from the previous Saturday so knew it was in the garage and I mentioned to both Lucy and Ian separately that the fix had not been done on my car, both said no. So I accepted losing £867,40 for the mileage used. The next day I ordered a new car, when I got home around 6.30pm I noticed that my refund of £54,031 had gone into my bank, then I was looking on Auto Trader and saw my car advertised for virtually the same price as I paid.I emailed Ian and have sent you the reply's.I feel cheated because the car is being sold with a known fault, I had the inside of my car drenched twice with the boot and window opening during or after charge. The security of this vehicle is zero.I thought the car would be returned to Audi for tests or not up for sale till the fix arrived in quarter 2.Also the price advertised was just £122 less than I paid for the vehicle October 14th.I am sure Trading Standards would be interested.I reckon I have taken the majority of the costs for purchasing a vehicle that was NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. I only had the vehicle on my drive 2 months.I estimate it has cost me around £1,250• £867.40 for mileage• Running 4 ICE vehicles instead of electric as no like for like car offered (£200) Could of run my Q4 for 18 months.• Paying insurance for a band 47 car and driving a A3• £40 to cancel my insurance and many other costs• Train costs £42I feel fair in asking for £745,40 back as a good will gesture because none of this is my fault and now I feel totally cheated.I love the Audi brand and have owned 2 ultra reliable cars previously. As mentioned before I have spent £124,000 cash since March 2022 on Audi vehicles, £98,999 at Lookers.Regards Colin

Really poor experience, booked appointment to test drive car, arrived to be told someone has going to test drive it before me(the car was still there when my appointment was due), she then went out for an hour in it, bought it back with 20 miles of fuel left..I test drove it, came back to discuss buying it only to be told she was going to have it. Total waste of my time. Very frustrated

It was actually a really disappointing experience. I asked to arrange a test drive, but the car wasn’t available for 3 days as a member of your team was using it. I then arranged a test drive for when it was going to be available, drove halfway to Farnborough and then revived a message saying the car wasn’t available as another team member had taken it for the weekend. I asked to confirm if it had a sunroof, and was told ‘no’ even though the description had it in capital letters. I was then promised that a video of the car would be sent the following day once it had been returned. This was not received. I then got an email saying the car hadn’t been described correctly and it didn’t have a sunroof roof. For a prestige brand, where I was planning on spending quite a considerable amount of budget, this hasn’t been a good experience, and I will now look elsewhere. Such a shame.

It was well managed but it always takes longer than you expect.

The reception I received from the salesman, Aaron, was defensive and I found him to be unapologetic in attitude, for a rescheduled appointment, due to training? And for the next appointment he was late opening the doors to the showroom, all the salesman were chatting away and seemed uninterested in my difficulty getting in to the showroom to meet the 11am appointment, I was trying to get in for the appointment from 10.55 to 11.10. And then to get arrogance in the reply was too much for me, I have now arranged for a new Q3 from Guildford Audi. They had a far better attitude to perspective clients, I was pleased to place an order with the Guildford Lookers. Regards James.(I'm not sure you will take any notice of this review... let's see)
