I havent gotten the refund yet in my bank account

I turned my keys in to the front desk on Aug 5th, with three of my other roommates. We all turned in our keys at the same time and the two students working at the front desk should be able to confirm reception of the keys. I do not own the keys anymore and do not understand why I am being hit with this charge.

Hello,I have been issued a refund and the document makes it seem as though it will be sent as a check to the building. I dont live at the building anymore and would like to update the address for the check or see if having it sent directly to my bank account would be an option.

HiI am Chanakya Hingu guarantor on the lease. My wife Jinal Mandalia was a resident of 1551 N Virginia St Apt 519A. She moved out and I was there to help her move out this year. We recently got an email for Trash chargers of USD 50. And in the image it showed a three cabinet rack Vaccume Cleaner and few cleaning supplies. So, talking at the leasing office I got to know that we can leave some stuff which are genuinely helpful for future people in the apartment. So thinking of that we left vacuum cleaner, rack and other cleaning supplies which were genuinely in good condition. So based on that information from the office we left that stuff.Is there any way to waive off those charges that would be grate. I was charged for not returning keys. I returned all keys; the room door, front door, and mail box. I returned this on the 31st of July. These keys were returned on time, and the person working the front desk took them from me and had me sign a wavier saying that I returned all of my keys and cleaned my apartment. I should not be charged for keys when I returned all of my keys on time. I expect the charges are taken off of my account.

I was charged $50 for a medium clean when my room was spotless. Then I was told it was partially due to the kitchen, however two of my old roommates still are actively living there and they were cooking and using the space, which is understandable as to why it may of "needed cleaning". I would like to not pay the charges because of the active roommates living and using the space, meaning the cleaning was needed because people still live there.

When I left, the bathroom I used was in pristine condition.It appears that I have been charged for cleaning the other person’s bathroom, which is unfair to me. My son Nash arrived at his apartment on Monday, August 18 and found that his assigned room was inaccessible-the handle was missing with a gaping torn hole where the handle should be. Someone from the lease office was able to get him inside the room where he found sawdust and stains on the carpet. His bathroom toilet seat was stained and moldy, as well as the bowl. His shower has dripping mildew on the grout. Blinds have thick dust on them. The room is much smaller than what was shown to him in the tour and significantly smaller than his roommates rooms despite the fact they are all paying the same rent. My wife called the property and spoke with the leasing office who assisted in getting a replacement toilet seat lid and a temporary door handle. We were told the correct door handle is on backorder. But for now there is still a gaping hole around the door knob.that means that Nash‘s room lacks privacy and security. Cleaners were promised but never sent. We requested a call from the property manager or owner and our request was not honored. Additionally, Nash was told that August rent would be prorated, however we were charged the full amount. Shocking considering that the two week gap between tenants should have been used to clean the premises and yet it is clear no one ever entered the premises. So Nash was forced to move into someone else’s filth AND PAY FOR IT. We have been informed that there is one shared maintenance employee for both 1551 and Canyon Flats apartments. I’m guessing no one will get to his room for days to weeks, if at all, so we are planning to hire a cleaning crew to come in and take care of his room and bathroom and will be submitting receipts to deduct that fee from September rent.

Moved out before 11:00am on 8/31/2026 due to a family emergency.I called the office at 11:00am, telling them we left the keys on the coffee table, I took pictures as proof. I’m disputing the trash and cleaning fee because the items shown in the photos are not mine. I made sure to clean up my trash and take all of my belongings with me when I moved out. I was a mid-year lease takeover, so I didn’t bring very much with me in the first place. The kitchen items, alcohol bottles, and other things shown in the photos were already in the apartment when I moved in. The moving boxes were also not mine since I didn’t have many things to move.One of our roommates was also evicted in June, so some of the items left behind may have belonged to him. I moved out early on July 31 at around 6:00 AM, and one of my other roommates was still there and had not fully moved out yet when I left. Since other people were still living in or had belongings in the apartment, I don’t think it’s fair for me to be charged for items or trash that were not mine.
