I cannot begin to tell you how awesome everyone has been throughout the entire process of getting my HELOC account. I started off with Gusty Coats who shortly into the process was retiring. She made the transition so smooth. I also need to mention even though she was leaving she made sure I had her personnel phone number in case I had any issues, how thoughtful was that! I was then under the watchful eyes of Rhonda Jordan. who has been amazing. She kept me up on every thing and answered any and all questions promptly. It didn't matter time or day it was the was a response. We closed on July 20 2026, and she made every effort to expedite that process as well. Today I reached out to First Carolina customer service today just for a couple things I was wondering about ,thinking the loan officer would be too busy for these type of questions, next thing I am getting a call from Rhonda telling me she is still there for me with any things that might come up. I cannot say how wonderful this whole experience has been. Thank you all so very much.

My experience with First Carolina Bank employees was outstanding. I met with Tiffany when I went in to open a checking account. She was very thorough and seemed almost clairvoyant with the information that I wanted to know. I was a terribly hot summer day in North Carolina. When I left the house with my Yorkie dog that morning, I didn't realize how quickly we would be reaching the daily high. I was worried the little fella would overheat in my truck, but the friendly employees at First Carolina Bank made Thor a part of their family - giving him treats and a seat with me in the service office!
