I was there for a hospital follow-up. I was in pain. I asked for a Rx for Tramadol 6-10 pills at the most until I saw the specialist for my eye pain. Tenyia Crayton, NP told me that she could not write a rx for pain medication. I know a doctor has to sign off on pain prescriptions, but she is allowed to write one. I'm not a pill addict. I have legitamite pain. I work at a doctor office. I know the policy. I also had a sinus infection. She checked my left ear and listened to my heart, that was it. The computer wasn't working for her in the room. She told me she would be back only to return my handicap paperwork to me. She left out the room and did not return. My sinus issue was not addressed. The MA brought my check out summary to me. I asked her will a Rx be sent in for my sinus infection? She said no did you tell the dr I said yes. I then ask for her to have Tenyia to come back in the room to address my sinus issue. I waited for her to come back in the room which the MA forgot to tell her. I was sitting there until Tenyia just happened to open my room door and saw me still sitting in there. It made me feel low.
