Reception staff would greatly benefit from customer service training. Staff were talking to each other when I arrived. Eventually they looked up and finally someone attended to me during check in. Staff person was unable to suggest best way to get to my site considering it was 37 ft and there were two roads to choose from. ' i don't know' she said to me. So I had to walk down and figure out for myself. If reception were upbeat, pleasant and welcoming along with required knowledge, you'd have a 10 out of 10 experience.

Disappointed upon arrival thats i know longer have a 2nd plastic chair that is typically there years past...also that we do not have garbage cans by our cabins.

Smoking needs to be addressed on site- in previous years it was not tolerated and the sites are too close together to allow someone to smoke on their campsite outside. There’s so many kids running around who shouldn’t be breathing that in. I also thought it was against the law to smoke in public places.

Better communication about site changes ( in an email/ phone call before arrival , or at least a mention at check in.) We don’t have a trailer , just a tent , hence why we book the tent sites. We were quite disappointed that our usual site was gone and finding the new one made for a stressful arrival.We noticed the bathrooms and garbage was not as tidy as it has been in the past.

We stayed in cabin 16. I found the first step to be a bit high from the ground. With no railing to assist it was a small mobility issue. I would suggest building the gravel up a bit.Shower area had a lot of dirt and hair on the ground. It appears it had been hosed but there was residual around drains. The rest of the bathroom was well kept

Would be great if the main garbage could be emptied more often. It was overflowing and stinks a few sights away in the high heat.Also the rebooking is complicated to get a weekend. It’s frustrating to manage each year.

Scripting at check-in for staff should include reminder to ensure booking for next year following day or ask right then and there if they would like to book for next year and just get it out of the way.Erin was not friendly and treated my daughter inappropriately by taking pictures of her without permission. Mike did a great job of handling my concerns with this but this once I talked directly to him.There are 2 boys that have been called child predators. Last year I called and talked to the manager about an assault on a young girl in the bushes took place. This year they were caught walking two very young girls who came over from the resort across the lake and were stopped from them being taken to the bushes (their parents were beside themselves looking for them). Steve Almas saw the boys walking with the girls to the back of the resort late at night and stopped them telling them their parents were very worried and looking all over for them (about 12 years old, boys were 16), probably stopping an assault. These boys were using my young son to go and gives messages to girls they were wanting to talk to.When the sheep were trying to get water in the mountains they ran after them in the rocks making the heard stressed.My Mom Debbie MacDonald knows which site the boys are from and who their parents are. The parents need to be spoken to about their son and his friends conduct.
