Had a good overall experience. Easy to schedule an appointment, admin staff was helpful answering insurance questions and with scheduling. Doctor had good bedside manners and was very gentle with the dental procedure.

The dental hygienist (Anika), at the Garden State Dental of East Brunswick, was very professional and friendly. She was able to notice a tooth that needed the evaluation of my dentist. This implies the Anika was concerned about the overall health of my teeth. I would recommend her to anyone. Also, the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. My overall experience was good.

Waited 5 months for this appointment under the impression that it was for a dental cleaning. Called several times to check for earlier appointments, but was never told that the hygienist wouldn't be there during my scheduled visit even when I referred to it as my cleaning. During my appointment was told it was just for a "checkup" and that I needed to make a separate appointment for a cleaning, and now have to wait another 5 months for the my cleaning appointment. Transparency, communication, and scheduling can be improved

My car hit a curb last time I was hawk eyed this time

I am disappointed regarding the billing area. I am entitled to 2 cleanings per year thru my insurance. These were regular cleanings and Garden State is submitting as Periodontal Maintenace which changes the insurance coverage and I get penalized to pay the additional fee. I am debating to search for a new Dental facility.
