The location and area with its restaurants, cafes, nearby shopping. We liked the number of activities, including the van that can take residents on outings and the garden area. Especially Liked the fact you can support celiacs with chef-directed menus.

My questions were answered quickly, the elevator was made available without any fuss and helpful suggestions were made which made the move in easier.

Deeply appreciated the tours by Allison. She did an absolutely fantastic job and she is an outstanding representative for Landmark. It was my mother who was deciding where she wished to be. To be completely candid with you. My Mom is an active 83 year old and I think seeing many people who to her felt less “active” was emotionally challenging. I am 64 and I enjoyed what I saw at Landmark and it is a great community. I would have been very happy if she selected Landmark. I have been a financial advisor for 26 years and am glad I learned about Landmark. I will have no problem referring my clients to take a look. When my time comes to find adult living Landmark would be the type of place I would feel very comfortable calling home.

Liked the varity of options for the kind of units available and that some have a balcony. Kitchens in unit were a bit outdated. Liked the cafe area of the lobby and that there's a pool. Seemed like outdoor access to the inner courtyard was limited (I may have been turned around about where this was but it was shown about halfway through the tour ,separate from the strip where pets could visit outside of lobby library area). Ballard Landmark location is good, but they didn't make much connection with surrounding business area, such as noting a library and restaurants in walking distance, not even a mention of the Sunday Market.

It's always a good sign to see several current residents who look happy, and ask if you're going to move in. We also loved the resident's planted pots on the lovely patio garden, the apartments we saw, the library, swimming pool, activities room, and sports room.

Generally staff have been superb, with a warm, genuine Welcome and interest to provide for my needs. Other residents I knew before approached me easily to ask about my trip abroad, and Administration (Management, Desk staff, Dining Room, Custodial & House cleaning, Maintenance (& Mechanical staff), and Health and Wellness as well as Physical Activity/Exercise program Supervisor, all the way to our car & Bus Drivers have been genuinely interested and helpful to welcome me. I have been touched & impressed beyond words. Special thanks and recognition belongs to Neil Edwards for “holding” it all together. Thank you Gencare Ballard Landmark, I’m glad I returned Home to Seattle, and Ballard Landmark provided a Home for me. —. Tülin Idemen, Apt. 113 B
