3 rd time with the grandkids. Great fun. Nice RV spaces.Only complaint is the putt putt course needs much repairs.

We loved the resort and all the activities for the children. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The park was clean.Our only complaint was the miscommunication about check in time for the RV park. In every email and on the website check in was listed as 4:00, which is not typical for RV parks. I called and asked about earlier checking in but was told no check in was 4:00. When we arrived at the RV park on our paperwork we received about the campground it stated check in time was 1:00 for the RV park. We were very disappointed that this wasn’t conveyed to us in any communication by Great Escapes. I spoke with the office and they were very sorry. However I feel this is a corporate issue not the fault of the Chestnut Bay. I hope you will consider updating the communication concerning check in time of the RV park.

Not a good experience golf cart rentals are way to high a you should be able to bring your own if your gonna allow them in the premises. And then to have to pay to get in the park is a little crazy beings I’m paying to stay there a. Also the golf cart wouldn’t even make it around the park without having to be charged. My family won’t be back thanks for the stay

The RV park has nice wide full hook up spots. The waterpark is very nice and very convenient being right in the park. There are golf carts to rent, a snack bar. Two pool areas, if you don't go into the waterpark. The only disappointment is the 9 hole miniature golf, it needs a lot of work done to it as the water features are deteriorated and not in use, the greens need to be replaced, and it should be a little bit more challenging. Other than that I would recommend Great Escape RV Resort Chestnut Bay.

This is our 10th year staying at Chesnut Bay. What a fun family friendly community to come unwind for a few days. Our kiddos love kayaking, making sand castles at the beach, sand volleyball, basketball courts, golf cart rides, the waterpark, and all kinds of activities ran by the staff (family favorite karaoke). We love Chesnut Bay. You can even rent a boat or jet skis and enjoy the lake from Weiss Lake Water Sports on the property! All the staff are so friendly and helpful! You will not regret staying here!

We rented a campsite and a cabin and thoroughly enjoyed both. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. The campsite was large and level. Our kids enjoyed the activity center, pools, water park, jumping pillow, and scheduled activities. This is definitely a campground we would come back to in the future. All of the staff members were helpful and friendly and everything was very clean and well kept.

We had an absolute wonderful time. We did have one issue about no one being available to return the golf cart and being charged more, but it was resolved. Excellent time and service!

Everybody was friendly. Very nice place to camp.

Nice campground but not happy about having to pay everyday to get into water park that was part of the reason we came a then having to pay $10 a person to get in hurt. Also rented a golf cart an it won’t even hardly stay charged to ride around the whole park it does very quick

Camping was good. Campground was very nice and had a lot of things to do for the kiddies. Most of the staff we encountered were nice. My big complaint is the Golf Cart rental. We rented our cart on Saturday morning at 9am for 3 days. On Monday at 11 we were told it was due back. Thats 50 hours. 3 days is 72 hours. That is practically stealing from these families who pay over $300 for a golf cart. And for this reason we will most likely not be returning.
