My warranty expired and nobody from Audi contacted me in time to remind me or to offer me an extended warranty option which I now understand is available as an option. Had I known about this I would have taken up the extended warranty offer which would have saved me significant cost. My friend has a BMW and they contacted him several months before the end of his warranty to warn him and provide options for extension. This has put my doubts into whether my next purchase will be elsewhere and not with Audi. The issue with my car occurred in June and Audi couldn’t book me in for inspection for weeks. Having then kept the car for 3 days the repair couldn’t be done. The car then needed to be rebooked which took a further 6 weeks. All the time I was driving the car with a fault. Disappointing that it took so long for Audi to fit my car in to deal with this problem. The customer service from Rachel was however exceptional and there are no complaints there at all.

Outstanding service from Rachel Adams. Sometimes can be difficult dealing with centralised booking and service system, having direct contact is invaluable and Rachel is very responsive and helpful

Rob, whom I have dealt with previously, was very professional and helpful. Prior to this service, my vehicle had come to dealership for some ad-hoc work, during which Rob had kindly agreed to link myAudi app to the vehicle. However, understandably, he forgot. I later phoned the dealership to get this resolved and the receptionist passed my message onto the service team, with a commitment that I’d receive an email/phone call by EOD. That never happened. A couple of days later I phoned again and spoke with Rachel who apologised that I had to chase her (the message had been passed onto her) and explained that she’d need to speak to the digital team for assistance with the query, and she would certainly get back to me. As expected, that never happened and is an example of very poor customer service, especially when the query in question is straightforward (apparently not). Anyway, during this service I mentioned the query to Rob again and he actually bothered to speak to the digital team, and then got in touch with an update. Unfortunately, the resolution does require me to bring the vehicle to the dealership again, which is inconvenient, as had Rachel bothered to assist in the first place as committed, the query could have been dealt with during the service that took place earlier this week. I hope my feedback is passed down the chain to mitigate future occurrences of similar poor customer service.
