I have always received the best possible care at Hartley Dental Practice, having been a patient there for over two decades, along with the rest of my family. My most recent treatment was with Milan who carefully explained what needed doing, and then did a superb job. The prices are reasonable, they are honest about what does or doesn't need doing,and you aren't kept waiting. You need to trust your dentist, and I certainly do.

My recent appointment was at the third time of asking (two previous cancellations from yourselves). No apology or explanation, just "we need to cancel your appointment and reschedule". Not that I want a formal apology - I don't - but some empathy might have helped. I usually have a double appointment (hygienist and dentist) and these were the arrangements I had made - but (presumably because of the two cancellations?) there was no hygienist appointment. I now have to return at some other time to see the hygienist. It was no surprise to me that plaque had built up more than usual - it's been a long time since you could fit me in! I have no complaints about Heidi, my Dentist - she is excellent and it is her presence that keeps me at the practice.

For the first time in my 15 years of using the dental practice I left with the distinct feeling that my check up appointment had been rushed. My appointment was for 11.30 but started at 11.50. Which I know is totally unavoidable. My appointment ended just before 12 o’clock. I was offered a referral for a particular problem which I did not take up because of the lack of information including the costs etc. This seemed to be because the dentist said that she needed to see her next patient presumably trying to catch up on time. I am sure that this was an isolated occasion resulting from the late running of your appointments.

From the welcome I received at reception to the time I left, it was a lovely experience. Everybody was so kind. Dentist, assistant and receptionist. As a boy I used to dread a visit to the dentist. Treatment was always painful. Now that's in the distant past. Thank you all and well done..!!!

All staff without exception are approachable, friendly professional and caring. Just a special mention for Claire who was so kind.

A thorough dental check up with x rays is always reassuring. Milan gave a clear and concise explanation of findings and treatment.

First time visiting Hartley Dental and first time going to to the dentist for a very long time. Heidi was lovely as was the dental nurse I didn’t get her name as I was very anxious going in. They were both lovely, caring and understanding. I’m actually looking forward to going back. Thank you
