It takes way to long to get any maintenance issues addressed. After 2 months I still don't have a working dishwasher. Average time has been 2 weeks till maintenance shows up. After looking at my dishwasher they said I needed a new one. They cleared the dishwasher ticket from the portal After a month I had to to repeatedly call a new dishwasher was delivered. There is a problem with connecting to the electric, they said there'll be back later in the day with what they needed. 2 weeks later still not done. I've lived here for almost 10 years and the maintenance is the worse its every been. Also took 2 weeks and complaining for them to address my slow shower drain, I was standing in 1/4 inch of water when showering. I'm considering moving and not renting from heatherwood again.

Maintenance response is poor. Now I understand why residents resort to using the emergency maintenance request to get things done. As I type this, I am still waiting for a maintenance issue I requested 2 weeks ago to be resolved. It seems that if the roof is not caving in, your request is dismissible. For the amount of money we pay in rent, you'd think that things will be done efficiently. People smoke indiscriminately around the premises, have their dogs pooping without cleaning up after them, the list goes on. Living at Heatherwood this 15 months has not been great as advertised.

I have lived here since 2017. During that time, my rent has increased from approximately $1,900 per month to over $3,000 per month, while the level of service and maintenance response has declined significantly. In previous years, maintenance requests were often addressed the same day or within 24 hours. As an example, I reported a dishwasher leak on June 19, 2026, and as of July 5, 2026, maintenance has still not come to inspect or repair it.Winter maintenance has also declined. Sidewalks and walkways are often not cleared adequately after snowstorms, and many residents purchase their own ice melt to make the property safe to walk on.I understand that costs increase over time, but residents expect service levels and property upkeep to keep pace with substantial rent increases. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests in improving maintenance response times and property services.

The grout still needs to be done which I appreciate that they acknowledged prior to me having to mention it, but still hasn’t been done; the doors of the closets have wrinkled plastic like material already coming off and when asked about it, they said that just happens; the base under the kitchen cabinets is a flimsy piece of light metal barely hanging on and very unstable; the staples from the carpet are sticking out, not enough to be visible, but enough to hurt when walking over them in many places around the apartment; one of the kitchen drawers doesn’t easily open/close; the bathtub was dirty on the bottom; the bottom corner of the bathroom sink has a hole and bunch of wood shavings coming off of it; the kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty and some sticky inside and on the outside; one of the knobs for the bathroom mirror was sitting in a shelf inside; the dishwasher had a broken cap and a loose piece that I don’t know how or where to put and was stained; the stove was not fully cleaned
