The apartment itself is nice and the complex with the pond is nice. However the unit below mine (717) had a bunch of criminals in it for a while that caused noise disturbances and late night knocks on the doors for whatever they were picking up from those people. I even had some of their “customers” knocking on my door by accident, sometimes at 3 in the morning. All this was going on while my wife was pregnant, which gave us this feeling of never being safe around here. We did make complaints to the police and office, and although the office came through and evicted them eventually, there has always been this feeling of insecurity here ever since.

If I could put it into words, I would say that some of the people that they’re bringing in and out of the community is kind of a little shotty. I realize it’s a free world whatever and if people are willing to pay or whatever but I noticed that a lot of people move in and then they move out and I think a lot of people there that are good people that are nice people and a respectable people and hard-working people are there. I find it socially is an app like going down to the pool when I first got there yes it was during the pandemic but now it’s kind of like like a wild place so you got every ethnic groove coming down there and I’m not really racist at all but just some of the going on down there are not good of course you know the cops always in there for one reason or another, which is not very good either and when you used to pull in there, they used to be a a guard now there’s no guard I’ve had an instance where somebody at 11 o’clock at night tried to walk over to my door didn’t even knock on it and tried to open it. I have it on my ring. I told him about it. They wanted to film, but couldn’t get the film off my ring for whatever reason I didn’t follow up with it you know I only did it once he did it twice the section 8 people that live in there and I realize everybody’s gonna have a place to live, but sometimes it’s not cool. The guy who lives next to me right now is brings his motorcycle in and out of his apartment. I don’t know I’ve never done apartment living before I know I don’t like it. I don’t cause any problems so cause any issues I take care of my place so it always looks beautiful. I always plant beautiful flowers and I decorated for Halloween for Christmas and plus just the price of it when I moved in here five years ago was 1999. I’m up to $8000 between the garage and all the extra stuff you guys keep adding on and that’s how you chase everybody out. I realize you’re taking averages of what the people are apprentice but a lot of people are moving out because they can’t afford to live there. Why would you want that? Why wouldn’t you want people that I can afford to live? I realize the prices of things going up, but I’m not seeing the pieces of property going up anymore. Our insurance should be anymore, but I don’t know sometimes I feel it’s just not a good environment, but that’s my observation of the place stuff enough to just live between food and rent and utilities. It’s crazy how much money I spend a month just to live in a place like that and getting nothing from it zero, but I certainly look at it from a different angle and say listen don’t have to pay property taxes. Don’t have to do this. Don’t have to do that other things that come along you know so I don’t know.🤷🤷🤷

People are constantly letting their dogs poop in front of my apartment and they don’t pick it up. It’s disgusting as children play there and my own dog also goes to the bathroom there. I am concerned that dog waste spreads diseases and also is an inconvenience when you step in it. Additionally, people let their dogs urinate right on the plants that I have on my patio, which I find completely disrespectful. I am aware of these instances as I have a ring camera.I worry about safety and the back gate no longer being locked. There is theft to vehicles. And I know that some cars have even been stolen from the lot.The fitness complex has been under construction now for several months and we are still being charged a monthly fee without access to any amenities. It seems that especially in the summer, people have access to the pool and the playground and basketball courts and they don’t even live here. These people tend to be not following the rules and their children are often wild and dangerous in the pool areas.Multiple large groups of men show up to basketball at night blasting music and smoking weed. They also do not live here. There are feral cats everywhere. Some people have cat food and cat houses on their patios. The dumpsters often have no space for garbage. As a single mom (who works 24/7) to a young child I struggle to pay the rent here as the rates go up every time I renew my lease. This used to feel like a safe community and now I am disappointed with the state of the complex. It is frustrating to barely be able to afford to live here especially with all the stuff that happens here. I have several friendly neighbors who keep an eye on each other. I enjoy living here but I am not sure I will be able to keep up with the rent increases as well as not wanting to live in a place where I have to always be looking around and worried for safety. :(

They installed a light fixture above my mirrors in my bathroom. The fixture was covered in some kind of a plastic. It was very dull. I tried to peel the plastic off myself. It was a nightmare, and it still looks terrible. I had no time to speak to anyone, I work five days a week in Melville long hours. Communication was excellent, and the installation was immediate, but the fixture itself was not in good condition.
