1. More desktop computers. Documentation is vital to our role and the Activity Therapy department struggles getting notes done on time due to lack of computers. One computer is shared among 4-6 any given day, so using the directors computer takes away from my own role, responsibilities and tasks.2. Water coolers in AT office and all patient units. Hydration!3. More coffee carts :)

I think overall this is a great place to work.Could be better communication when things change. Things get passed on like a game of telephone, hard to know what to believe or who it is coming from.People not arriving to work on time is excessive. Almost every time I work I am waiting at least 15 mins for the next shift to arrive.Would be nice if some staff manager or extra staff would be available to cover lunches.Something needs to be done about phone calls, the excessive amount of phone calls nurses have to answer and how often pts are on the phone and requesting to make a call, it prevents nurses from being able to do actual nursing work.

1. I have put this on every survey sent out. COMMUNICATION. The communication in this facility is some of the worst I have ever seen. I mean a simple email to all staff would be sufficient. I'm not talking about the Paycom emails that talk about "fun" things going on this month. I mean things like our holiday pay being taken away. Priorities are not where they need to be.2. When we make complaints about other staff members, I feel like it needs to be taken more seriously. Saying things like oh well just ignore them or completely dismissing someone doesn't make me feel comfortable reporting things.

Opportunities to advance in nursingStaffing on weekends is HORRIBLE! Making PRN pick up 1 weekend shift a month would help TREMENDOUSLY!!! If PRN techs are held more accountable for weekends or holidays the change would be TREMENDOUS

I would love for the upper management who is implementing new rules to work a shift where they try it out and see how realistic their expectations are. I also feel the staff who aren't doing their job are significantly over shadowing the staff who do, I work with staff who disappear for hours at a time and fall asleep, but I don't feel comfortable reporting because I feel ill get punished as part of the collect
