Providing more computers to the department to make sure all who are working each shift have the equipment to complete the tasks at hand.Updates the EMR are not adequately explained or warning given to what is being changed. Often times the only information given about changes to the EMR are after the fact and after a complaint has been voiced.

1. More desktop computers. Documentation is vital to our role and the Activity Therapy department struggles getting notes done on time due to lack of computers. One computer is shared among 4-6 any given day, so using the directors computer takes away from my own role, responsibilities and tasks.2. Water coolers in AT office and all patient units. Hydration!3. More coffee carts :)

I think overall this is a great place to work.Could be better communication when things change. Things get passed on like a game of telephone, hard to know what to believe or who it is coming from.People not arriving to work on time is excessive. Almost every time I work I am waiting at least 15 mins for the next shift to arrive.Would be nice if some staff manager or extra staff would be available to cover lunches.Something needs to be done about phone calls, the excessive amount of phone calls nurses have to answer and how often pts are on the phone and requesting to make a call, it prevents nurses from being able to do actual nursing work.
