Love you guys forever

Management is difficult to work with, no flexibility in policies, no empathy, no loyalty to long term residents. Rate increases every year but no increase in value of apartments, offerings, updates to amenities, etc. There is an overly strict emphasis on "policy" without taking into consideration other factors like tenant longevity, individual circumstances, etc. It's clear management only cares about bottom line and nothing else about the tenants who actually live here. However, the management clearly expects tenants to be flexible when things are not working. For example, the elevator situation that went on for years. I've lived here for 4+ years and until recently the elevators would break down almost monthly yet nothing was ever done for the residents for the constant disruption other than an apology email (if that - usually just a printed out sign in front of the elevator when it wasn't working). An apology email is not a replacement for 1 elevator (and at times, both) not working - creating delays and inconvenience. Last year I inquired about the possibility of ending my lease early due to my unemployment status. The initial response I received was so cold and insensitive - it was a copy/paste of the rental agreement with nothing else - it was completely void of any sort of human element which was so disappointing as someone who has been a great tenant for 4 years, always paying my rent on time and not having any issues with my tenancy. I was hoping for some sort of flexibility or way to work together so both parties could benefit. It's truly so disappointing and the main reason I will not be renewing my lease once my term ends.

I just received this email saying the issue was resolved - we still don’t have a running sink in our bathroom. This issue was brought up in November and someone came in Saturday unable to fix it. We were told it would be fixed today, but no change. Unsure if anyone came today since since I was at work. Please have someone come and fix this asap! We need our bathroom sink to work.
