My building lacks additional handicap parking for my relatives. The one spot available has been occupied by a vehicle with an expired registration for over six months. Our entry stairs should have a railing reinstalled for my handicap relatives. As well as during the winter when the concrete steps are icy/slippery. One washer and dryer for eight units is ridiculous and unreasonable. The lint vent outside of the building is clogged and overflowing, needs cleaning. And our lots could benefit from additional, working light sources for late at night when we have to take our pets outside and are required to pick up after them. Aside from the unattainable monthly rent the leasing office team is usually friendly and the location is ideal.

The sound from the apartment below me is poor and I can hear all the noise. My dishwasher has been broken for 5 months and is moldy. Still hasn’t been fixed.Sometimes my mailbox is open because the lock does not latch properly.

Everyone has been very pleasant and helpful since I moved in. Several folks have offered to help me when they see me using a walker or trying to get groceries to my apartment. It’s been a positive experience for me!

We are very happy with the office staff and maintenance. Our apartment is quiet and we appreciate that all our immediate neighbors are so considerate. Its very comfortable. There are a couple suggestions that would improve our living experience here. We have a second floor unit. The single window air conditioning unit is not adequate to keep our apartment comfortable even during moderate warm weather. We have to add two inside units to keep our apartment comfortable during warm weather. Secondly, over the number of years we have been a resident here, we have asked that the rear door to the outside be upgraded. It never locks because it doesn't close properly. Its also quite unsitely due to the lack of cleanliness, discarded food wrappers and peeling paint. We are also lacking both hand rails normal on the outside steps. It is unsafe, especially during the winter when the steps get slick.Overall we have been happy with our lengthy stay here, but may have to move to a first floor unit somewhere as we get older. Both my wife and I are retired. Moving to another unit here would increase our monthly rent over the annual increase we normally see every year.

Water damage under bathroom sink. Issue was not even attempted to be resolved. Placed small piece of wood on top of warped water damaged wood. Was not replaced or secured, literally just put a piece of wood in my cabinet

Parking could be better. Other than that I’m very happy at Highview Manor. The staff is great and always helpful. I often recommend people to apply.

Repairs are done with minimal effort and low grade materials. Handrails are made out of cheap wood that don't even match the anesthetic. It appears as if the property owners don't really care. They have told tenants that the exterior doors were going to be replaced and made more secure. That hasn't happened. It seems that the band-aid fix is appropriate.

Management is vert curt when discussing issues. We have mold in the building and repeatedly the Management refuses to help us. Thousands of dollars of our valuable personnel property has been thrown out. The Management refuses to help. I was told to take care of it myself. Mold! I'm 72. Then hire someone to do it yourself! I pay $1700 a month for this dirty, moldy, apartment. I'm calling the town to report this and an inspection. I feel unheard and not cared about here at Highview. This is my 7th year living here and it's only gotten worse over the ears

The location is decent. Fairport electric is a plus too! However, if I am also going to be honest: It could always be worse! But, the rent does not reflect what the apartment is really worth! The rent increases are not reasonable at all! It’s appalling! There has been major decline in my time here over the years!

They haven’t mowed the property in months, our basement has black mold and toads with standing water all of our belongings in the basement were destroyed. We asked to be moved to a first floor apartment my husband has brain cancer and cannot do the stairs but they seem not to care when it’s a major concern with him falling. Rent is way too high for what we have. Gym hasn’t been usable and they keep saying it will be re done and available for 24 hr use. Hard for kids to play I. The community no side walks or things for them to do.
