Disappointed we could not get service the same day for our plumbing problem but when repairman arrived, he was able to access and fix our problem. Customer service was good as they kept in touch either by phone or email.

Our gas oven was not heating. The vendor you selected informed me on the day of the scheduled repair that they do not repair gas appliances. HomeServe responded by finding an excellent vendor Authorized Appliances, who repaired the oven the same day.

Homeserve did not effectively respond to the issue. The same issue occurred within the past year and Homeserve was aware that the issue was likely caused by an exterior plumbing issue but insisted on sending an interior plumbing company, as they did the first time. The interior plumbing company was ineffective, stating they could not do anything and we needed a company with exterior plumbing expertise and dig permitting for my city. I requested a specific company be sent out but this request was not fulfilled. The 2nd company that was supposed to come never showed up and the issue persists. It is unclear why Homeserve chose to categorize this issue as interior plumbing when previously they had done the same only to recategorize it as exterior. It was was waste of both my time and the contractors time and only extended the amount of time the plumbing issue persisted.

I have had three previous experiences that were excellent, but my last one was awful. I called regarding my thermostat and was told a work order was placed. After not hearing from anyone after three days, I called HomeServe back. The CS rep that I “talked” with mumbled so badly, I couldn’t understand her. I finally realized she was trying to tell me there was no one in my area? I think that’s what she said. She put in a work order, and someone called me back that day.As I said, I had three previous experiences that were great.Thanks for letting me vent.
