I purchased several policies with HomeServe during the past several years. This was my first experience submitting a claim with HomeServe. After navigating through the automated telephone system and explaining my problem, I received a call within 5 minutes from a local plumbing company telling me they would send a technician to my home between 11AM and 12PM the next morning. I called HomeServe at 10PM on Saturday of a 3 day holiday weekend and the technician was at my home Sunday morning fixing my clogged drain. I am very impressed with the prompt service I received and there was no additional fee on my part. Before I thought about contacting HomeServe, I contacted a plumbing company which said they would charge $225 an hour. And that the hour would begin when the technician left his home and the time would end when he returned to his home.

The service technician arrived promptly and assessed the problem and,was prepared to take care of my water heater issue. The water heater was replaced and old one removed without, any damage to my home. The technician performed in a very courteous and knowledgeable manner. Would highly recommend his work.
