The technician that was sent out was great. The HomeServe insurance program needs to repair my sewer line and I have not heard a word from them in over a week after having multiple techs come out over the past month. I am starting to wonder what I am paying for.

The technician came at 2:30 or a little after which is closer towards the end of the scheduled timeframe. Therefore, I had to call another contractor which took my situation urgent as I indicated to your dispatch.

I called on Wednesday May 10th to request a repair for my leaking washer. Since it also would not agitate, we couldn't use it. The first technician was not available until a week or so. I called back to get a different technician, who was available the upcoming Monday. My experience with the appliance repair company specifically was quite poor as they never gave me a true time frame of when they would be sending someone out to my house. I was only given an 8 AM - 5 PM window, even though they had my mobile number to text me when they were on their way. Luckily, I called the day of the appointment to get a more accurate time frame, to which I received a 1-3 PM window. The contractor showed up in that timeframe, but without any notification that he was enroute to my house. I notified him of this issue, and he told me to update my mobile number, which wasn't helpful, since it was correct. He was polite and knowledgeable though. He diagnosed the issue properly, told me he would order parts and left. The problem with the appliance repair company is that I never could get ahold of a live person, because the only number I received went to a 3-option automated IVR that only gave useless information and then hung up on me, regardless of the option selected. I never was able to reach a representative from Sears/A&E and I never could speak to someone to ask about the status of my part delivery. Parts were supposed to arrive before Friday, May 19th, but due to a delay, they never arrived in time. As such, after corresponding with an agent, I was finally offered a buyout option on Tuesday, May 23rd, which I had to negotiate. I was told the check should be a 2-day delivery, but could take 7-10 days to arrive. I still haven't received the buyout check yet. In the meantime, going on over 2 weeks of being unable to use my washer, I had to buy a new one and hope to be reimbursed soon. Overall, I was hoping for a better experience with clearer and timely updates, as well as updates from the repair company. Now, I have a delivered part, but don't know the address to send it back to, because I don't have the proper phone number to reach A&E. My interactions with HS agents were fairly good, but I never did receive a number to reach A&E that didn't lead to an automated IVR.
