I had a slow leak from a water pipe in my basement. I knew I had coverage and contacted you. After a bit of give and take with Home Serve you acknowledged you had responsibility. I assumed next that you were seeking one of your providers to fix my problem. Week one ended with your representative informing me that you were escalating the problem to level2Meantime, the small leak now became a larger leak. My efforts to stem became more strenuous. On Tuesday a technician from a Massachusetts based company arrived to assess the problem. She told me I had a serious problem and she would immediately contact her management to tell Home Serve to get on it immediately.Each time I contacted your company they either said they never heard from the other company or the appointment would be for week three.Anyway after failing to the stem the tide, I paid over $ 300 or so to pay a local plumber to fix the problem but I learned a a lot about Home Serve. You are in Chattanooga Tennessee. You have no vendors in Eastern New Hampshire. You accepted my premium to support me when you knew you had no such support. You strung me along while you found the Massachusetts company. Both companions are incompetent in that just this week I received a notice that the Green Team was coming out to fix my problem on October 19. It had been canceled at least by me on or about September 28.If you cared about me and really wanted to 'Serve' me would contact me to make me whole. Here's my number 603-944-5215. The rep was excellent! She was smart and helpful. She dispatched a plumber, who was personable and efficient. He had the problem solved in less than 15 minutes. It would have taken me an hour to do it. The only problem was the plumber should have tested his work a bit better. I had to make slight adjustments, but not a big deal.

Plumber did show up as scheduled and replaced the water heater. He was not able to hook up the electrical line because the existing cord did not reach the new heater which was shorter and wider than the previous one. Had to have an electrician come out the next day and run a longer line. Once this was done the water did not heat up until I figured out that both the upper and lower thermostats had not been turned up.Overall, everything was taken care of, just felt like it was more complicated than it should have been.
