I was seven days without hot water and heating in my home. I am 78 years old. The delay was partially shared by HomeServe in the time it took for the repair to get started and also by CenterPoint taking a further two full days to turn my gas supply back on. The guys who did the repairs were excellent. They came on time and carried out their work in a professional manner. They also kept me advised as work was in progress.

Service rep was helpful, took a while to get contractor to respond as I asked for a specific contractor. The visit was scheduled and they arrived in the window scheduled and completed the job in about an hour. Everything was fine, but after they left, there was a minor problem with an acid tablet spill on my bathroom floor, they came back twice and got the problem resolved. Very professional and understanding. I would recommend them very well, prior to this, they replaced a defective water heater and that job was great also, which is why I requested them for this job.
