Electrician came a week and a half after my request, however, I would like to consider probably the delay was because of the holidays. I would like to commend the electrician of doing a good job and explaining the process of what he did. Was also very respectful and mindful of the job he was doing.

Painless process from the first call to report the plumbing issue to the plumber coming, taking pictures and receiving immediate authorization to repair the problem .

Communication was horrible. Both with HomeServe and with vendor you had me using (His and Her Plumbing). I am used to receiving appt confirmations, notifications when service people are coming, etc. I had an assessment on a Friday (Dec 2). When tech didn't show up in the appt window, I was told on the phone, I called. Only then was I told he was delayed. Had I not called, I would not have known. He assessed and said he would be back to fix on the following Wednesday (Dec 7). Then that Wednesday, he came and had assessed the situation incorrectly and had to have a leak person come (they blame you guys for requiring a plumber come before the leak person. I say it is a leak. A leak person should be involved especially in a neighborhood the plumber told me was known for putting pipes under driveways - the reason a leak person was needed). Leak person supposed to come the following Tuesday (Dec 13). Tuesday I rec'd a call (during window they were supposed to come) and say that they would not be able to come until Thursday (Dec 15) (they blame their scheduling person for overscheduling them). I called back HIs and Hers b/c they had planned to come later in the day Tuesday after leak was marked as a courtesy. They told me they were scheduled to come Wed (not what they told me on the phone ) but changed to coming Friday. Finally fixed that Friday (Dec 16) Could have been done much more efficiently instead of having the leak continue for two weeks. I have regular plumbers etc that I deal with and if I had been allowed to use them, it would have been handled in a much quicker way. Not to mention that they actually can communicate. So, then the concrete was torn up (Not a huge amount; they did a good job only taking out what concrete was absolutely necessary). Concrete person was scheduled by you for Wed Dec 21 (appt window for 1-4) At 3:30, I called HIs and Her Plumbing (who you scheduled) and they said basically, "oh, we don't do concrete; No one from here is coming." I had an appointment confirmation on that day and time from you for HIs and Hers; so someone should have called me when they figured out that I needed concrete and they didn't do that. MIke from His and Hers called you to let you know they weren't coming and called me back to let me know that you'd have someone call me. You put the job out there for someone else (Bliss Plumbing??) and they called me and said they also don't do concrete and they refused the job on your system. Then you put it back out there and HIs and Her Plumbing accepted it again b/c they weren't paying attention or something. I called you and said that I knew His and Her Plumbing wasn't going to come and requested that you actually get someone who did concrete work. I got a call from someone to do the work and I hate that I forget their name. They were very good at communicating, but did ask me if I was providing the concrete or if they were supposed to - what??? Seemed like a weird question to me! They came when they said they would and it is fixed. That was Dec 30. So basically, I spent a month dealing with this. It was inefficient and with the exception of the concrete folks no one communicated well at all. I initiated all communication even after repeatedly asking for more communication. The concrete guys, I actually think their primary business is hauling away debris, but the guys do concrete as a courtesy). Concrete appointment was 9 days after original schedule mostly due to cold weather and the holiday which is understandable. However, if you had actually scheduled it with someone who did concrete in the first place, it would have been done sooner.

HomeServe did not help me at all, I had hot water heater coverage, my hot water heater was not repairable and that is all they do, they don’t replace them

The service was quick. The technician was professional and digilent. Took the time to do it right the first time. I recommend the service. They are A Rated in my book.
