We had a water leak in our basement and filed a claim with Homeserve. Homeserve was very quick about sending a plumber out to assess the leak. However, the plumber was not able to find the leak. He told us it might be a foundation issue. Then, Homeserve sent another plumber out for a second opinion. He also could not find the problem. He told us it may be a HVAC issue or foundation. So we called our HVAC tech out and he located the leak from pipe burst in the drywall behind the shower, which is a plumbing issue. Thankfully, HVAC tech was able to fix the leak. Currently, we have a reimbursement claim with Homeserve for the HVAC payment we made upfront. Hopefully, we will receive the reimbursement from Homeserve soon.

The service was great. Good communication from time of request through the service technicians visit and afterwards. Easy to manage. My Son uses another company that gave him the runaround for two (2) months. My first visit pretty much paid for the coverage. Thumbs UP here.

Homeserve provides a service, but it seems that there are a lot of issues that happen, that are not covered for a plumbing situation. Knocking pipes, converters, sprinkler system, leaks, all of which aren’t the owners fault. It’s frustrating to pay for a service, but it covered basically nothing.
