J & L Plumbing responded in the evening after I submitted the trouble report with HomeServe in the morning. They started work the next morning, found two leaks, and pulled pipe to repair both. They preserved most of my landscaping and seeded disrupted areas where they had to dig. Cory and Louis were polite and professional, I enjoyed learning from them as they worked. Overall a positive experience. I have paid about $100 for the county permit and inspection fee but have not been billed for any other expenses. Thank you HomeServe.

The repair man was a little early. He was efficient, polite and competent. He quickly found the leak and he fixed it.

We first called HomeServe on 9/21 to report a sewage backup between our home and street that severely limited our use of running water. The first company recommended could not come out for a week. We called and got another recommendation and that company came out but apparently proposed a solution that would take more than a week to implement at a prohibitive cost. Finally, Chad from HomeServe called us and said he could have Holloway Plumbing at our home in 48 hours and felt that a solution would be possible on that date. Greg Holloway showed up early, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed by 5pm. We also struggled with getting any sense of urgency for utility and sewer marking from Charlotte Water and USIG (utility marking) even after several calls to escalate. I would recommend suggesting to clients that these calls be made on Day One in the future. If the markings end up not being required for the work, so what, they don't cost anything and it would be time saved. After 10 days with limited running water we are grateful to be working again. Too bad it took so long.

Job was half done. Will be more alert when reporting a problem. Cleared blockage but left roots in the sewer pipe which will have to be done again. Only next time I will request a company who takes the roots out which are causing the blockage so verbal language can’t be used to deliver the right work. Very poor work and service. Make sure you request camera to show roots and that the roots are removed not just an opening to get sewer running and leaving the problem intact and telling you the sewer is running and the rest is your problem because you didn’t request roots be removed. Very shady use of words.

Danny (Danny's Speciality Plumbing Solutions) was efficient and very knowledgeable. Took the time to listen to my questions/concerns and explained what the problem was and how my system works.This is the second time Danny helped me out.Very appreciative of him and HomeServ.
