The service person was professional and although there wasn't anything he was able to do he took the time to look through the basement area and outside the house.

Bright Star Heating & Ac guy came promptly for the second time. He said he filled 2 lbs of Freon to make it more cooler but the thermostat showed the temperature remained at 72 when it was set on 70. He said it won’t go down to 70 because outside temperature was 100But before this was not the case and even when the temperature was 105 or 106 the cooling was better and was running at 70 and 69.Right now it is 8 am and I set the thermostat at 70But it is still showing 72So I think there is something wrong and there is a fault somewhere that could not be located and resolved

HomeServe's service was excellent. The first plumber assigned to my case did not show up for their appointment and HomeServe was able to get another plumber to do the work the next day.

I needed ac assistance. Tech came to my home and I showed frost forming on ac pipe. Ac not cooling. He immediately said homeserve will not fix ac leak and left. I called the company with no satisfaction. I called local hvac company and spent $1500 to clean outside ac coils and attempt to locate a leak. None found. I was told that the very dirty outside coils probably caused the problem. Ac just fine. Home serve should have had their tech at least attempt to locate possible leak as did my local company. Very disappointing.

Your company did approve our A/C repairs or replacement due to the unit being old. Which is no where on my declaration..I pay Home Serve for repair service..I would think this would involve repairing or replacing in order to serve.
