I would say the service was good but there were a few unclear communication issues that I had to do several follow-up phone calls to finally get a clear and correct follow through for my plumbing emergency. The plumber did solve the problem withing 8 hrs. from the original call. For that I am very thankful to Home Serve.

This was my first time needing to use this service. I was uncertain and very apprehensive about how the whole process works. The representative I spoke with put me at ease right away and began explaining how the process works. She got the ball rolling and I received a call from the plumbing company shortly thereafter. My problem was resolved the next day! Thank you so much.

HomeServe has been an excellent partner in home maintenance. I appreciate how helpful and friendly the reps are, how quickly calls are answered (even early in the morning during EST hours), and how reliably good the service has been by the technicians sent.

Well, the tech from AquaPlus didn't do anything. He (John), I think that's his name. Look up who AquaPlus sent to service my concerns at 125 Weymouth Street, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774. He came in took photos and I told him I had a leak. I showed where the leak was and the first thing he said was look like it MIGHT be mold. I told him, I don't have mold. Then he said, well, before I can do anything you will need an inspector to come and check it out. After his assessment, then I will come back and fix the leak. He also called Home Serve and told them that it might be possible that I have mold or something and it needs to be checked. HomeServe intern said they couldn't do anything until I had that checked. I also called HomeServe back and ee could I get a second opinion and they told me no.The tech gave me a number to call if I haven't heard from them in two hours. On top of that the tech said that the company he referred me to will know what to say to my Homeowner insurance company. After all that back and forth, he told me to make sure I score a 5 because if I don't HomeServe will pull the contract. I wasn't comfortable with all he said, so, I consulted with my neighbor about what was happening and she told me she knew exactly who I was talking about and don't use him because she had a horrible experience with him. Another company had to come in a redo all the damage he had done, and also pay the water bill because the tech left it leaking, tore a hole in the wall, and the rest is history. With all that been said, I got the contractor who remodel my entire home to stop by and see what the problem was and he did. He fixed it and indicated no mold. This is basely what happen. My cost for the other person cost me $450.00. Is there anyway I can get reimbursed for some if not all. You're understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.Ms. Velma P.
