Your servicemen found what the problem was right away. The wind must have blown our pilot light out. If we were to have needed a brand new hot water heater we were surprised to find out that the replacement cost to replace a Bradford White 50 gallon hot water heater would be around $3,000 through Roto-Rooter. I checked with our regular plumber in the area and he told me that they would be able to replace our Bradford White 50 gallon hot water heater for no more than $1,500. I felt that roto rooters replacement cost is way too high, so I am not sure I would have them replace our hot water heater in the future, unless they would be closer to our regular plumbers replacement cost. The only problem is that he does not work through home serve, so that would be a problem for us. It would be great to find out that you work with Koster Plumbing out of Zeeland Michigan, because they are the ones that gave me this $1,500 quote. We have had Koster Plumbing as a regular plumber for many years now and they do very good work. Maybe you should consider adding them to your list of plumbers to send out.Thanks for fixing our problem on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
